Bahria Town Champions T20 Cup is scheduled to take place from 7th December, 2024. The tournament comprises 22 matches with all the top-tier teams contesting for the winning title from across Pakistan. The matches are to take place in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
In the recent updates related to the tournament, PCB has announced the entire panel of match officials. According to the reports, the opening battle between UMT Markhors and Nurpur Lions will be officiated by the Elite Panel Umpires of PCB including, Zulfiqar Jan and Imran Jawed (on-field Umpire), Qaisar Waheed (third umpire), and Rana Muhammad Arshad ( fourth umpire). Moreover, Nadeem Arshad from the elite panel would be leading the playing control team.
For the final to be played on 25th December, the members of ICC umpires panel have been announced as the match officials.
They include Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Waqar as on-field umpires, Faisal Khan as the third umpire and Zulfiqar Jan as the fourth one. The playing control team would be led by Ali Naqvi, member of the International Panel of ICC Match referees.
In addition to these names, the umpiring duties during the tournament will be shared across Imranullah Aslam, Kashif Sohail, Ahmed Shahab, Imtiaz Iqbal, Muhammad Sajid, and Khalid Mehmood Sr.
Among the six match referees named by PCB, members of the ICC international panel are also included. They are Muhammad Javed Malik and Ali Naqvi.
These members of the international panel would be joining Muhammad Iqbal Sheikh, Iftikhar Ahmed, Sohail Idrees, and Nadeem Arshad of the PCB’s panel to take control of the match duties.
