ICC has officially announced the schedule for the much anticipated ‘Champions Trophy 2025’.

They have also mentioned on their social media handle that the registration process has been started and people can now register to get the latest development regarding the ticket sales and updates related to the upcoming matches directly in their inbox. 

Champions trophy is starting from february 19th and will last until march 9th 2025. The tournament comprises 15 matches with eight teams competing to win the trophy.

The teams are divided into two groups, each group has 4 teams and they will compete against each other in the group stage.

The two winning teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. Group A has Pakistan, New Zealand, India and Bangladesh while group B has Australia, England , South Africa and Afghanistan. 

The tournament will take place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Dubai. 10 matches will be played in cities of Pakistan while 3 matches of India will be played in Dubai. In case India qualifies for the semi-final and final, then both these matches will also be shifted to Dubai.

The first match will take place in Karachi and the defending champion and host Pakistan will be against New Zealand.

ICC also mentioned that there is also a provision of reserve day for semi-final and final for weather related issues.
